GISMA students visited AUTO1 Group

Gisma - Business School

30 students from GISMA were given the opportunity to visit AUTO1 Group in Berlin.

The highlight of the company visit was the talk with Sören Lange, Chief Marketing Officer at AUTO1 Group, who talked about the business model and the marketing activities of AUTO1 and its brands. Founded in 2012, AUTO1 Group is now Europe’s leading car trading platform. In 2017, the company sold more than 420,000 vehicles and achieved revenues of €2.2 billion.

The students learned more about the challenges and the opportunities of the market and they also had the opportunity to learn more about the company’s culture and its vision. This was particularly important, as AUTO1 Group is currently growing and interested in recruiting young talents, also among GISMA students.

GISMA´s Careers Development Centre offers our students a wide range of company visits. These are always great opportunities for interacting with professionals, exchanging ideas and getting inspired. The format gives plenty of possibilities for networking and also for talking directly to recruiters, as many of the companies we are visiting are hunting for new talents.
