GISMA professor named Brain City Berlin Ambassador

The Brain City Berlin campaign was initiated by Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie and a wider network of science partners. The aim of the campaign is to select renowned scientists, representatives of research institutions and young talent, to act as ambassadors of Berlin’s scientific landscape and inspire people to discover the ‘Brain City Berlin’ for themselves. The campaign shines a light on Berlin’s prominence as a leading research hub, characterised by diversity, interdisciplinary knowledge production and innovation.

Professor Dr Peter Konhäusner was selected as an ambassador due to his practical and academic work at the GISMA. He is an entrepreneur and founded his first company in 2000. He believes in the importance of taking a holistic view of entrepreneurship, since founding and managing a company involves many aspects. Professor Dr Peter Konhäusner hopes to use his position as Brain City Berlin Ambassador and Professor at GISMA to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation in the young minds of today.
