Gisma and The Class of 2020 host Innovation Competition

In cooperation with Gisma and ASK4, The Class of 2020 will be hosting an Innovation Competition which will involve students or graduates developing innovative concepts/design or business models around blended living.

Blended living is the process of mixing all the different aspects of your work and personal life together, rather than striving to achieve a work/life balance. The Class of 2020 Innovation Competition will encourage students to think about how the boundaries between living, working and learning environments are becoming increasingly blurred, particularly in university cities. Students and graduates will consider how blended learning can be achieved, with a focus on creating sustainable solutions through technology.

In order to enter the competition, the following criteria should be met:

  • Teams must be made up of a minimum of three students or graduates;
  • Graduates must have graduated in the years 2018 or 2019;
  • Current students should be studying business, arts and design, architecture, urban development or related subjects;
  • Work must be submitted by 13 October.

You can find out more about the competition  here.

In addition, The Class of 2020 is hosting a conference between 6 and 7 November at the Berlin Arena, in which volunteers are required to help with the general set up, coat checking and registering guests at the welcome desk. As a ‘thank you’ for helping, volunteers will be rewarded with Amazon gift vouchers. This will also be a great opportunity to network with other students and with senior members of global organisations. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact eleonora@theclassof2020.org.
