Abeera has over a decade of experience in academic and quality management within the higher education sector. Coming from a background in humanitarian jurisprudence and commercial law, Abeera worked as a lawyer before joining Global University Systems (GUS) in 2009.

Arvind Sinha is an Electrical Engineer who has been working in Germany for a decade. He transitioned to the field of Advanced Computing and then to management, obtaining MBAs in Marketing Management and Finance and Strategy.

Bettina is a Finance & HR Officer. In the past 20 years, she has held positions as Financial Senior Controller and CEO in Berlin, Hannover and Bad Oeynhausen. Bettina holds a degree in European Law from the University of Hannover and is a nationally and internationally certified accountant.

Claudia Wittman teaches Corporate Reporting and Academic Writing. After studying in Mannheim and Kiel in Germany, Iceland and California, she obtained a master’s degree in the US and has taught in Germany, Japan, the US, Mexico, and New Zealand. Previously, she worked as a Lecturer at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht) and her academic focus lies in Business Administration and Finance. Her professional work has seen her spend time in Iceland, Germany, Central America and the USA.

Deepak Trivedi is a global executive in the sports industry and has held international responsibilities at high-profile events including Grand Slam tennis tournaments. He consults on important event aspects such as the fan experience, international marketing, volunteer engagement and diversity and inclusion.

Dr. Catalina Mueller is a visiting lecturer at Gisma University of Applied Sciences and a user interface designer at a startup in Berlin. At Gisma, she teaches and facilitates Essentials of Management and Product Management whilst supporting students in writing their theses in the area of management, business or communication. 

Dr. Dariya Afanasyeva is the Senior Registry Officer at Gisma University of Applied Sciences. She is originally from Ukraine and holds a diploma in Applied Psychology from Dnipro National University, as well a Master’s and a Ph.D. degree in Cultural Heritage Studies from Brandenburg University of Technology (Cottbus-Senftenberg).

Eloise Capet has held different roles in leading French universities over the last 20 years. In her last position, she headed the Teaching and Learning Lab at Paris-Dauphine University where she improved learning experience by implementing learner-centric approaches for faculty, online or in classroom. She rolled out pedagogical innovations, like active learning, virtual coach, peer grading, to transition from passive lecture mode to interactive one.

Franziska Gerle joined Gisma University of Applied Sciences in November 2023 as the HR Manager, bringing with her a wealth of experience in human resources garnered from various roles across Germany. Her diverse background in HR contributes significantly to her comprehensive understanding of the sector.
