Workshop: Body Language

Gisma - Business School

On 25 Feb 2016 GISMA students took part in another training session from Andreas and Thomas Frank.

The training, titled “Superior behavior with appropriate body language”, was part of the Career Centre’s Professional Development Programme.   Body language is one of the most powerful communication channels, with facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, and movement all showing different emotional states. This affects how others perceive and react to us, and is an important tool for persuasion.

The workshop gave students an in-depth understanding of how to use non-verbal communication to pursue professional goals. Participants learned about the principles of intelligent body language and different channels of communication.

In the practical part of the workshop, students also reflected on their own body language in situations such as job interviews, business conferences, and professional meetings.
