GISMA Summer 2020 Online Career Bootcamp

We were delighted to see so many students join us for the GISMA Summer 2020 Career Bootcamp which took place over two days in August!

Here at GISMA, we’re dedicated to ensuring students reach their career ambitions, even during the challenging times we are currently facing. As such, our dedicated Career Centre work hard to organise insightful events like this for students and to meet company representatives and learn more about their fields.

GISMA Alumni Sukhman

GISMA Alumni Sukhman

The event, which took place via Zoom, was a great way for students to understand more about the German job market, learn about artificial intelligence (AI) within recruitment and hear from alumni members who shared their job search strategies.

We were pleased to have an alumnus of The University of Law MSc International Marketing programme, Sukhman join us and give useful insights into his experiences of finding a job. Sukhman is originally from India, and joined GISMA Business School in 2018, and has since gone on to have a career in Germany. He gave lots of useful tips for the job search process as well as explaining his journey to getting to his current role as Business Development Manager at drtv.agency. The session ended with an insightful Q&A session for students to have their queries answered.

With 34-35 attendees each day consisting of current GISMA students and alumni and consistently high satisfaction rates across all training sessions, we are immensely happy with the success of this event as the first post-lockdown event where we were able to introduce industry professionals to the GISMA community and we look forward to more events to come!
