What information is collected?
- In order to use the main external web site at GISMA, you are currently not required to register or provide any personal information about yourself. Any personal information collected from visitors to our website is on a purely voluntary basis.
- On occasions we may ask you to provide some personal information about yourself to participate in University services. This information may include your name, title, institutional affiliation, address, telephone number and e-mail address. It may be stored electronically or manually by GISMA.
- Credit card information given through the website for the purpose of making an online donation is not held by GISMA. However, the contact details of the individual who has made the donation is held securely within Development and External Affairs for the purpose of thanking them, to reclaim tax and to renew gifts.
We may also use your data, or permit selected third parties to use your data, to provide you with information about goods and services which may be of interest to you and we or they may contact you about these by email, post or telephone.
