Professor Dr. Behrooz Gharleghi
Dr. Behrooz brings extensive teaching, research, and industry experience gained across Malaysia, Peru, and Germany. Throughout his career, he has held several academic and research leadership positions, including Research Group Leader, Senior Researcher, Affiliate Research Professor, Associate Professor, and Head of the Graduate Business School.
He has led and collaborated on numerous international projects with prominent organisations such as the UN Global Compact, the United Nations, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Volkswagen Foundation, and the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. His work spans global business, sustainable supply chains, and cross-border economic initiatives.
Dr. Behrooz holds a PhD in Economics from NUM, and his research continues to bridge academic inquiry with real-world impact. His contributions support advancements in global supply chain management, sustainability frameworks, and evidence-based policy development.
