Prof Dr Narjes Nikzad Khasmakhi
Prof Dr Narjes Nikzad Khasmakhi is a Professor of Computer Science at Gisma University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, Germany. Her research expertise lies in natural language processing (NLP), knowledge representation, and knowledge graphs, with a strong focus on large language models and deep learning-based text classification. She has authored several influential publications in top-tier AI and NLP venues, including ACM Computing Surveys, Expert Systems with Applications, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, and ICML.
Prof Dr Khasmakhi completed her postdoctoral research at TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences, where she contributed to advanced projects leveraging generative AI across diverse applications. She earned her PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Tabriz University in 2021, following an MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili and a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Guilan.
Her academic and research contributions reflect a deep commitment to advancing the frontiers of AI through interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
