Nigina Tawakalsada, die Kanzlerin und Geschäftsführerin der Gisma University of Applied Sciences, verfügt über mehr als neun Jahre Erfahrung in den Bereichen Betrieb, Führung und Finanzmanagement. Vor ihrem Engagement an der Gisma University war sie als Campus-Managerin an der University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Potsdam tätig. Dort leitete sie die Entwicklung der Infrastruktur und spielte eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Unterstützung der nicht-akademischen Bedürfnisse der Studierenden. Darüber hinaus verantwortete sie die Leitung mehrerer großer operativer Teams bei der UE/GUS Germany GmbH.

Peter Jansen is an experienced lecturer with a wealth of knowledge in international business. He holds two masters including MBA and a doctorate in management. Peter worked as a marketing and strategy consultant for nearly 10 years (working for KPMG and BCG, among others), offering consulting services to several top-tier national and multinational companies. Later he became vice-president in business development at one of the largest media companies in the Netherlands and the general manager of a media company in Central & Eastern Europe. Peter is an accomplished entrepreneur and he is also the founder of several companies in the marcom industry, with a focus on (online) advertising and mobile marketing. Whilst working as a visiting professor, Peter currently serves as an independent director for one of the largest natural gas producers in Central Europe.

Dr. Ahmad Abu-Alkheil ist der Programmleiter für die Kurse Global MBA und International Business Management an der Gisma.

Prof. Dr. Fotis Papageorgiou is Professor of Social Sciences at GISMA and serves as the University’s Vice President (Academic).

Prof. Dr. Mahmoudreza Babaei (Reza) ist als Professor für Data Engineering an der Gisma University of Applied Sciences tätig.

Professor Maurits van Rooijen ist Vorsitzender des Board of Governors der GISMA, Chief Academic Officer (CAO) von Global University Systems und Rektor der University of Europe for Applied Sciences. Zusätzlich zu diesen Funktionen ist er der Chairman of the Board des IBAT College Dublin, Irland. Er wurde mit dem Constance Meldrum Preis für Vision und Leadership der European Association for International Education (EAIE) und dem Insignia d’Ouro der Universidad Santiago de Compostela ausgezeichnet.

Dr. Mohammad joined GISMA in February 2021. Dr. Mohammad received his PhD from TU Berlin, where he was researching semi-supervised data cleaning approaches. Prior to coming to TU Berlin, he was a data scientist at HomaPlus. He earned his MSc degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Tehran and his BSc degree in Computer Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. He published a couple of research papers, most notably, two papers on his data cleaning systems, namely Raha and Baran. He also received the ACM SIGMOD most reproducible paper award for implementing and releasing these systems.

Prof. Dr. Peter Konhäusner ist Professor für Digitales Unternehmertum an der Gisma University of Applied Sciences.

Prof. Dr. Ralf Frank is a Professor of Organisational Transformation at GISMA. He started his professional career in Marketing and Business Development at Case International Harvester in 1992. He has been Managing Director and Secretary General of DVFA, German Society of Investment Professionals and a renowned training school for investors and financial analysts in Frankfurt, for more than 15 years. Dr. Frank has extensive experience in organisational transformation, sustainability and digitalisation. Dr. Frank received his Doctorate of Business Administration from Universität Hamburg. He holds an MBA from Sheffield Hallam University, and an MA in English, Communicational Sciences and Politics from Universität Essen. He is a trained Systemic Therapist & Consultant.
