Marketing Executive (Full-time)

 

Role Summary: 

Assist the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing in the creation of the both online and offline marketing campaigns including but not limited to creating and optimising email marketing campaigns, producing promotional material such as brochures, factsheets, digital ad copy and creatives, managing the content of the website and maintaining healthy relationships with the wider marketing team:  PPC team, SEO team, Affiliates Team, Copywriters, Designers and Developers. Work with the Marketing Manager to grow paid social campaigns and help manage the international Paid Social team, continuously improving KPIs such as lead volume, lead quality, and conversion rate. Own the content creation for organic social media and work closely with the Social Media Executive to grow the brand. Promote on-campus events in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. Foster a collaborative relationship between students and the marketing team, resulting in a steady flow of student-generated content across multiple marketing channels. Continually display in-depth knowledge of marketing good practice and translating ideas across all channels, in line with lead targets and ROI.

 

The Marketing Executive will also take a hands-on role in measuring ROI, ensuring that campaigns are optimised and completed on time as well as tracked and monitored.  

 

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Help create a fully integrated marketing plan for assigned brands in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing
  • Support the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing in the implementation of the global marketing strategy
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the development and execution of all marketing campaigns – online and offline. Focus on paid and organic social media.
  • Assist with performance reports using marketing platform data and analytics tools
  • Provide research and understand business strategy, our industry, competitors, key drivers and environment.
  • Deliver on marketing KPIs
  • Promote virtual and on-campus events
  • Develop projects and initiatives to obtain student-generated content for marketing channels
  • Make sure that website content is accurate and positively contributes to the student journey
  • Assist with translations from English into German
  • Liaise with external partners to support in dual branded marketing communications and activities
  • Support and deliver ad hoc projects for the marketing team and group brands based on business needs and dependent on performance.
  • Liaise with the design, copy and brand teams to ensure brand consistency and delivery of all campaigns creatively
  • Follow relevant compliance and regulatory processes

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in marketing or similar professional qualifications
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a marketing-related role
  • In-depth knowledge of paid and organic social media marketing
  • Experience in working with Facebook Ads Manager, understanding of LinkedIn Campaign Manager preferred
  • Analytical mindset and good working knowledge of an analytics tool, e.g. Google Analytics or Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience in working with a CMS, e.g. Convertri, WordPress, or Typo3
  • Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and organisational skills
  • Experience in managing large marketing budgets preferred
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads and Salesforce preferred
  • Experience in email marketing preferred
  • Native or near native English and German (C2)
