To support our Student Care Office, we are looking for a Student Support Coordinator for our Berlin Campus.

 

Main Tasks:

  • supporting the Student Services & Compliance Manager with students‘ visa & residence permit applications as well as partnership management with embassies and authorities
  • researching, tracking and analysing data and statistics
  • point of contact for agents, business developers and the international GISMA team
  • contact person for all student academic and non-academic issues including pastoral care, welfare, and student life support
  • organizing housing options for students and tutors, as well as supporting student with their accommodation search and rental procedures
  • constant improvement and streamlining of accommodation processes in close collaboration with the Real Estate Manager and GISMA’s finance team
  • developing a student life programme, including creating and constantly updating GISMA’s student events calendar in close collaboration with programme management and the marketing team
  • support with the organization and execution of academic and non-academic events
  • front desk support including visitor management and answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
  • customer-oriented support and catering for the needs of predominantly international students
  • close collaboration with all departments within GISMA
  • execution of administrative tasks, including issuing and revising visa & residence permit supporting documents for students and follow up with students on academic and non-academic issues
  • supporting the campus/ building management
  • additional tasks as assigned by the management

 

Position Requirements:

  • Fluent in English; German language skills is an asset
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office-Programmes (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Very good organizational skills
  • High social and intercultural competency
  • Detail oriented work ethic
  • Being able to word with tight deadlines
  • Team player mentality
  • Hands-on mentality
