Winning Negotiations course takes place at GISMA’s Berlin campus
“Not only did I refresh and enhance my skillset, I made some valuable connections I’ll never forget.”
- Katherine Josephs (course attendee)
From 8 – 10 November, we were pleased to hold a three-day executive education programme from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School at our Berlin campus.
18 participants from Germany and beyond attended the Winning Negotiations course, which was led by Professor Stephan Boyle.
Before entering the field of lecturing and training over ten years ago, Stephen held roles in communications and change management at a Fortune 500 company and worked as a management consultant.
The course covered negotiation, decision-making, risk management, and leadership development.
For most participants, this was their first introduction to GISMA. They also took the opportunity to explore our campus and learn more about executive education.
The day was a great networking opportunity, and participants had the chance to meet other GISMA students at an evening get-together.
The attendees gave some excellent feedback. Katherine Josephs said: “Not only did I refresh and enhance my skillset, I made some valuable connections I’ll never forget.”
Her fellow participant Michael McLaughlin said that it was “absolutely fantastic to be a participant in this voyage through the swashbuckling seas of negotiation,” adding that he would recommend the course to anyone.
Another attendee, Anette Kearney, said that the course was “invaluable no matter what walk of life one’s in” and provided “knowledge that will enhance your personal and professional lives.”
A big thank you to everyone involved in making this event such a success, and we look forward to many more events like this in the future.
