GISMA's MBA orientation day
On 4 September, GISMA welcomed new MBA students from Germany, Mexico and India to the orientation for the September 2015 intake - the fourth intake for the MBA offered in partnership with Maastricht School of Management.
Acting Dean, Dr. Witt, welcomed students, explaining the history and structure of GISMA. Afterwards, all of GISMA’s staff introduced themselves and told students what their role at GISMA is.
To ensure that all new students felt welcome at GISMA, staff explained the ‘open door’ policy, whereby every member of staff is happy to offer GISMA students support when needed.
Compliance Manager, Oksana Zanik, and Facility and Event Manager, Sandra Burba, taught international students the important basics of living in Germany, talking about banking, health insurance, travel, housing, and life in Hannover.
In the afternoon, Dr. Witt presented the programme structure with Programme Director, Kali Webb, providing information on the foundation and core courses, specialisations, and the master’s thesis.
Current MBA students also attending in the afternoon, offering new students the opportunity to ask questions about studying and living in Hannover, as well as their future prospects in Germany.
We wish new students every success as their courses begin here at GISMA.
