International short film project comes to GISMA
Last week, GISMA MBA students and staff participated in the opening ceremony of the Shooting Leibniz film project, which took place at GISMA in Hannover.
Shooting Leibniz is an international short film project celebrating the 370th birthday anniversary of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, a famous German polymath and philosopher who worked and lived in Hannover from 1676 until his death in 1716.
From 19 – 29 November, five international film teams will produce short movies about Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz in a range of genres, including short feature, animation, experimental, and documentary. They will be working on their films at the Leinehaus at Goethestraße 18, sharing the space with GISMA.
At the opening ceremony, GISMA students had an opportunity to talk to international film teams and exchange many creative ideas.
The project is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony, and the world premiere of the five short films will take place on 29 November 2016 at Kino im Künstlerhaus in Hannover.
