Grenoble MIB students tour Volkswagen factory
Our MIB students recently visited Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge in Stöcken, Hannover.
Klaus Liebich, who worked for Volkswagen in many countries and departments, gave the students an outstanding tour of the plant and showed them the production of the Caddy, Amarok, and VW Krafter II. The students were very impressed by the use of robotics in the assembly lines and production process.
In the afternoon, they enjoyed a walking tour of Hannover’s old city and GISMA’s head office, before attending the inaugural lecture of Dr Daniel Ehls. He spoke about increasing problem solving performance and innovation, and his talk is the first in a future lecture series.
They then took part in a networking event with wine and cheese, which was an excellent way for them to meet GISMA’s cooperation partners and alumni.
Many thanks to the teams from Berlin and Hannover who helped to organise this trip!
