Key facts

Our University Placement Service is a specialist consultancy service. The student will be fully informed about everything they need to know about their specific programme of study. Students will learn about universities/Studienkollegs and find out which are offering the programmes they have requested. Our advisors will provide information on entry requirements, documents needed and application procedures for the programmes requested. Students will be guided on how to obtain more information for their chosen programme. This service includes the assistance of our advisors for a minimum of five applications, for any chosen programme.

Mode of advisory service:

  • Counselling service on request (online or on-campus appointment)
  • Individual counselling

Applicants will be provided with:  

  • Specific information about (a) specific programme(s) the students’ request
  • Specific information about studying at specific universities or Studienkollegs in Germany
  • Specific information about requirements to study a specific programme at a German Uni or Studienkolleg
  • Specific information on application procedures for specific programmes
  • Specific information on documents required for applications
  • Specific information where to obtain appropriate information about specific programmes
  • Application support for a minimum of five applications
  • Assistance will be provided remotely (pre-arrival) or at the place of study

  1. Orientation meeting: Our UPS advisors will speak to you to find out about your career plans, review your application documents and review university/Studienkolleg and programme choice.
  2. Research phase: Our UPS advisors will check the application requirements and conditions of the programmes and institutions you want to apply to, and the application deadlines for universities/Studienkollegs
  3. Counselling meeting: : Our UPS advisors will update you on the application process for each university/studienkolleg based on their research and will advise you on the next steps
  4. Application phase: The applications will be submitted online (via the university/UniAsist/Studienkolleg) and the certified copies of the application documents will be prepared and sent to the institutions in a hard copy format. The application fees will be paid to the university/Studienkolleg.
  5. Final meeting:  Once you receive the conditional offers, you will be called for a final meeting and will be advised on the follow up steps on how to do the inscription at the university or the entrance exam for the university/Studienkolleg entry.

The German course was excellent. I reached level B2.2 within 9 months. I enjoyed the course very much! If you had any questions they were always very helpful. They also helped us when we needed support regarding organizational matters.
