Our Master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship provides an in-depth understanding of the role of entrepreneurial activity that occurs both inside and outside of an organisation. The course will allow you to develop industry skills at a professional level with a focus on how to encourage and foster innovative thinking within organisations.

In an era of constant change, organisations need to adapt and innovate continuously. This programme will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to identify and respond to market opportunities. You will learn how to instil an ethos of innovation within a team to embed a culture of entrepreneurship and will develop a strong understanding of various entrepreneurial business models giving you the skills and knowledge to manage the entrepreneurial and innovation process within an organisation.

The MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship places a significant emphasis on meeting industrial developmental needs as well as enabling professionals and graduates to develop as Business Management professionals.

This programme is awarded by The University of Law and delivered by GISMA, at its campus in Berlin.

Study Methods

This is an interactive course with a real-world focus and learning takes place both in and outside of the classroom environment. Small group workshops are used to promote student interaction and facilitate personal support. Workshops and lectures are supported by a wealth of online resources from The University of Law, including The Financial Times, case studies, video content, online testing, and feedback. You will receive all core textbooks free of charge and have access to the University of Law’s Virtual Learning Environment, Elite.

Course Structure


The course will run over one year and is divided into three semesters consisting of 13 weeks. In each semester, students will study 45 credits of taught modules and the equivalent of 15 credits of the Business Project module.

During the first semester, students will also study Professional Development - a non-credit bearing module.

Flexible payment plan

GISMA offers flexible payment plans that allow you to spread the costs of your programme fees in up to six instalments. A refundable* deposit of €2,000 is required to secure your place, and the remainder of the tuition fee is to be paid after the start of programme in accordance with your payment schedule.

You will be eligible for a discount of 5% off the total fee if the payment of the entire tuition fee is completed before the first instalment due date.

Entry requirements

  • Qualifications: 2:2 or above from a UK Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualifications.
  • English proficiency: An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
  • Non-standard entry: non-standard applicants are welcome to apply at GISMA. Applicants without a bachelor's degree may apply if they possess at least 5 years' managerial experience.
