The Master of Science in Cyber Security Management is designed to equip business professionals with an in-depth understanding of the core aspects of cyber security in our current, rapidly-evolving, technological landscape.
The programme utilises a practical approach, teaching students how theoretical concepts are applied in real-world industry situations. Students will learn how cyber security is implemented, managed, and governed by organisations and how a business can become susceptible to fraud and security breaches. With a strong focus on employability, students completing this course will learn key cyber security strategies and concepts alongside the skills and understanding required to become strong and effective managers in a data-rich environment.
This programme is awarded by The University of Law and delivered by GISMA, at its campus in Berlin.
This is an interactive course with a real-world focus and learning takes place both in and outside of the classroom environment. Small group workshops are used to promote student interaction and facilitate personal support. Workshops and lectures are supported by a wealth of online resources from The University of Law, including The Financial Times, case studies, video content, online testing, and feedback. You will receive all core textbooks free of charge and have access to the University of Law’s Virtual Learning Environment, Elite.

Through this master’s in cyber security, students will become competent and effective cyber security management professionals. You will develop strategic thinking skills and understand how to manage resources, implement solutions, and effectively communicate these to senior decision-makers to support the strategic growth of a business.
Students will also have opportunities to undertake entrepreneurial activities and work with professional bodies and employers.
Students will develop the skills and knowledge to embark on a career in data and cyber security management or any managerial role where assessment of risk and analysis of data plays a significant role. With the amount of data available in the digital revolution, its management, usage, and accessibility concerns have become ever more important. The implications for security, ethical behaviours and dealing with fraud are extremely important.

The course runs over one year and is divided into three semesters, each consisting of 13 weeks. In each semester, students’ study 45 credits of taught modules and the equivalent of 15 credits of the Business Project module.
Throughout the first semester, students will also complete the Professional Development module - a non-credit bearing module.

GISMA offers flexible payment plans that allow you to spread the costs of your programme fees in up to six instalments. A refundable* deposit of €2,000 is required to secure your place, and the remainder of the tuition fee is to be paid after the start of programme in accordance with your payment schedule.
You will be eligible for a discount of 5% off the total fee if the payment of the entire tuition fee is completed before the first instalment due date.
