Language skills are an integral part of your career and give you an advantage in your job search, whether in Germany or elsewhere in the world. Additionally, they qualify you to pursue further degree programmes or short business executive courses.

With the General German Test DaF preparation course, students can develop their language skills in all areas or focus on a particular area to enhance specific language skills. Students receive a regular language certificate when they pass an exam (A1-B2 certifications), and those who do not complete the full length of the course receive a certificate of attendance

Fees and Funding

This language course can be studied for various lengths:

  • 1-4 weeks - €220 p/week
  • 5-12 weeks - €210 p/week
  • 13-24 weeks - €205 p/week
  • 25+ weeks - €200 p/week

Whether you are elementary or advanced level, our General German classes will help develop your confidence when using German in a wide range of everyday situations.

General German covers reading, writing, speaking and listening, combining this practice with vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation exercises. This course starts on the first Monday of every month and is available for any level of German, A1 – B2. You can study this course for a minimum of one week.

Study modes available: On campus, Blended learning and online learning.


TestDaF is the globally recognised German language qualification, widely accepted by German universities and colleges. Our tailored approach will meet your individual needs and requirements, developing the key skills needed for all four parts of the test: reading, writing, speaking and listening
