GISMA Business School expands to the UK with a new centre in London. To celebrate the launch of the new location, GISMA London hosted an executive education course entitled “Accelerating Women’s Careers”.

The new centre will initially offer executive education programmes, focusing on the latest trends that are driving businesses around the world and will introduce further courses in 2019.

The two-day workshop attracted female leaders from around the UK and Germany and from organisations including Facebook and Veolia. This programme was specifically designed for women who aspire to leadership roles as well as HR and diversity leaders who want to enhance their awareness of gender balance. The course received great feedback from attendees, as they gained the skills required to increase their corporate exposure, to enhance own personal effectiveness and to find a network of mentors.

The workshop was conducted by IMPACT US, among the lecturers were an experienced leader and OD Practitioner, Marcia E. Mueller and a Certified Trainer, Coach and Master Practitioner NLP, Caroline van den Bogaard and a certified Executive Coach.

GISMA´s Managing Director, Dr. Thorsten Thiel stated on this occasion: “I am very happy that the GISMA London Centre is now available to host executive education. With London being the first location outside of Germany, GISMA Business School takes a major step as a global player.”

For this milestone the school also interviewed a successful female leader: Justine Powell, Managing Director of Handelsblatt Global. You can read the full interview here.
