Young Professional MBA takes off at GISMA

The Young Professional MBA (YPMBA) is principally directed towards young high potentials who would like to do their Master of Business Administration (MBA) while continuing to work in their job.  For GISMA it is the third MBA program alongside the extremely international eleven-month  full-time MBA study program and the Executive MBA (EMBA) which also runs parallel to the job. The EMBA is particularly directed towards more mature executives and managers and has been run now successfully for several  years in cooperation with the Krannert School of Business of Purdue University, USA, the Tias Nimbas Business School, Netherlands, and the Central European University (CEU), Hungary.

"I am delighted about the great interest shown and about such an important success for us," said Anette Tronnier, General Manager of GISMA Business School. "With the Young Professional MBA we want to respond to the need of many companies from Lower Saxony for a weekend program for their future executives and managers. They have shown a good reaction to this offer, but there have also been many registrations from private individuals."

The English-language Young Professional MBA study program also offers its participants academic sessions together with the students of the full-time MBA program, in which 58 persons from twenty different nations are already studying.

"The exchange between people with different professional and cultural backgrounds is a fundamental pre-condition for a good MBA program. We are in a privileged situation at GISMA. Our participants always have the possibility of comparing and discussing their own approaches to problems and topics with those of other students from all over the world. That is an immense help for our graduates in their later professional life."
