Jochen Todt from Germany (IMM 2007)
on his experiences studying in GISMA's Executive-MBA program:
“The in-residencies and their time structure especially helped me to benefit from the program. I prefer the intense two-week model to weekend programs or distance learning courses, because I had very productive weeks at the campuses, but did not need to take a day or two off from my job every week. Having a demanding job and a family, the IMM really was the best choice for me.” Read more about GISMA’s Executive-MBA program, “IMM”

Michael Krächter from Germany (IMM 2007)
on his trip to Shanghai for the IMM in-residency:
“The economic importance of the entire Asian region – and of China in particular – is rapidly growing, so I was very enthused about the opportunity to experience such a booming market up close. Although my work isn’t likely to be taking me to Asia in the foreseeable future, as a manager working in a global corporation I will sooner or later be dealing with business associates from all over the world, and naturally also in China. Our lectures keyed us into the essentials of dealing with Chinese business partners, and we immediately had the chance to put our new knowledge into practice on our excursions to Chinese companies.” Read more on the China in-residency as part of GISMA’s Executive-MBA program

Stefan Tacke from Germany (IMM 2007)
on why he decided to study in GISMA's Executive MBA program “IMM”:
“So where do I go from here? – This is the question I asked myself a year ago, with my options for advancement looking rather limited. At the age of 33 and with a family in the making, quitting my job was definitely not a viable option. Then came the idea of continuing to work and earning my MBA at the same time. Unlike many programs, GISMA’s IMM was built around two-week residencies as well as being internationally accredited and offering the combined benefits of several renowned business schools. So GISMA it was to be!” Read more about Stefan’s reasons to decide for GISMA

It brought me professional, usable knowledge and insights which enhanced my performance in many ways. Hellmut Ringena from Germany (IMM 2005)
on his experiences in the IMM program
Looking back on the last two years of the IMM program I can still remember quite vividly the speech of a former IMM Student at our first week of the orientation. He was talking about what we have to expect from the next two years. He said: it is work, work, work and then showed us some funny pictures. And he was right! This is probably the best summary of the program I can think of. On the one hand, with all of the readings, homeworks, papers, presentations, midterms and finals that we had to do, the program was definitely a lot of work. But on the other hand, the opportunity to be a student again was a lot of fun. Read more on Hellmut’s experiences
